THINK-IT THROUGH was founded by Kylie Van Grinsven, a primary school teacher and external assessment marker for NAPLAN, Senior English, Literature, and Maths.

Kylie noticed a pattern: across all subjects, students are introduced to new concepts and are then expected to explain their purpose, explore them deeply, draw conclusions, and suggest improvements. It’s the same thinking process that underpins most assessments — and builds the 21st-century skills of critical thinking and problem solving.

To make this process clear and achievable, she created a simple six-step framework that helps teachers plan lessons and students think through ideas systematically to demonstrate their full potential.

Now, through live online workshops, Kylie helps students learn to THINK-IT Through — building the skills to think deeply, analyse and innovate on curriculum concepts, and express original ideas with confidence at school and beyond.
